Trip two to Eastwoods Bar was even better than the first. A Monday evening out on the patio, enjoying a cool(ish) Fall night over drinks? What more could you ask for? Well another order of their famous tot-chos sounds like a plan! Tater tot...... nachos...... How has this not become a bigger thing yet??? You've got to try them!

After winning the social media contest from the media dinner a week ago, I of course couldn't wait too long to cash in my winnings! This new Uptown bar is the perfect place to go to watch the game, play trivia on Thursdays or even listen to live music on Wednesday nights and the weekends. This dog friendly patio is a prime starting location for a night out as well, as it is in walking distance to most of Uptown. Not only is the bar and its location great, I have to say it was great meeting two of the owners, Chris Johnson and Dan Hunt. Such nice guys, who really care about their customer's visits.

Now lets talk drinks. With an insanely extensive drink list, the talented mixologists on staff mix up some of the most delicious concoctions, as well as take off menu requests. On my first trip, I enjoyed the Passionate Dallasite, which was a citrus dream, topped of with a festive umbrella, but the drink I really died for was the off the menu, extra dirty martini! One of the BEST martinis I've ever had. Anyway about it, this place is a drink connoisseurs dream. (also pictured above was the Pink Daisy, a mixed drink of tequila and in house made strawberry mix)

How I judge a good bar; the drinks and THE BURGER. The Eastwoods Burger, a 1/2 pound patty, topped with bacon, provolone and gouda, all in a brioche bun, was a gift from god. The burger was cooked perfectly and was juicy. The burger, accompanied by truffle oil tots, hit the spot.
