Accessory Obsession

An evening filled with custom, one of a kind accessories competing to be this years Accessories In the Nude All Star, all hosted by my amazing friends, LeeAnne Locken and Leah Frazier? Sign me up! For me, this event was especially on point, as 2 of the 3 designers competing, design bowties...... and I LOVE bowties haha! LeeAnne and Leah were a complete riot and helped lead us through the fabulous evening.

One of the bowtie designers was LaMarcus Holloway of NeQ Bow Ties. His designs were more traditional, with the flare being embellishments and color. Of all of his looks, my favorite had to be the above royal blue bowtie with floral embellishments. It was just gorgeous, something I could see myself wearing to Mad Hatters.

The only none bowtie designer was Thais Mills of Thais Flowers. Mills presented gorgeous floral accessories, in the form of hair clips, lapel pins and even chokers. The colors were always vibrant and stunning. A perfect addition to a simple gown on a red carpet.

By far though, my favorite designer was Michael Williams of BowTie Mike! His designs were fresh, avant garde and one even lit up! All of the looks were different and each one of a kind, from one with mesh athletic detailing, to a pop art inspired full acetate design with lights, to my FAVORITE the red gem covered one on the left. I would TOTALLY wear that to Diffa in the Fall or any other evening in need of a fabulous accessory!

After an evening filled with fabulous fashion, sips and bites and some amazing friends, I cannot wait to attend the grand announcement party at Ese Azenabor's fashion gallery on July 22nd! It is a must attend event! I know I'll be there!
