Hollywood's Favorite Twisted Photography Comes to Dallas

With dark satirical notes, Tyler Shields' exhibition at Samuel Lynne Galleries is simply breathtaking! On exhibit until February 11th, this controversial experience is a must see for the Dallas art lover. It was particularly special getting to attend the opening reception, that also doubled as the launch for his newest book, Tyler Shields: Provocateur.

With the great feeling of a gallery crawl, it was a really unique experience to be able to witness the purchase of one of his works within the first 30 minutes of doors opening! The Chanel Acid photo was the first purchase, straight off the wall of the evening. Shields himself in attendance was unbelievably humble and down to Earth, something I personally love seeing from a renowned artist.

My personal favorite piece of the collection on exhibit had to be "Blow" with the blowdryer. It is ironic, slightly dirty and just well shot! Make sure you don't miss the chance to see this amazing artists work, here in Dallas!
