While some spend a Tuesday night at home watching reality tv or grabbing dinner with a loved one, the elite of Dallas turned out to Esé Azénabor's showroom in the design district for the release of her newest collection all in conjunction with supporting and raising funds for My Refuge House. My Refuge House is a SoCal founded non profit aimed at helping with the rehabilitation of survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and abuse. The house is located in Cebu, Philippines and is in transition from housing 12 minors in recovery to a higher capacity down the road. You might ask, "How does fashion help with ending this monumental issue?" Well the answer lies within the passionate women chosen to walk in the show. Esé picked influential Dallas women to walk in the show, increasing the visibility of My Refuge House and drawing in more patrons to the evening. On top of that the event also had a silent auction, with proceeds going to the non profit.

With models ranging from fellow well know fashion designers, Dallas entrepreneurs, all the way to Real Housewives of Dallas cast members LeeAnne Locken and Stephanie Hollman, the crowd was full of well known faces, all ready to help support this worthy cause.

While the night was all in honor of helping a somber cause, the fashion did not disappoint! With a range of vibrant colors, lux fabrics and stunning silhouettes, Esé's newest collection was a fresh breath of air in a fairly stagnant Spring fashion season. Make sure to look out for any other upcoming events helping My Refuge House! Such an important cause!
